  1. ‘nvestorsønn Mikkel Astrup ble anklaget for å ha forsøkt å smugle eksklusive moteklær. Selv mener Astrup at tollerne begikk tyveri da de beslagla klærne han kjøpte på sin reise til Italia.
    Det var 21. juli 2021 Mikkel Astrup (50) gikk på grønt gjennom tollen på Oslo Lufthavn Gardermoen, etter ankomst fra en reise til Italia. Med seg hadde han klær fra det eksklusive motehuset Prada til en verdi av drøyt 75.000 kroner – langt over verdigrensen på 6.000 kroner.
    Mikkel Astrup er litteraturviter og den eldste av investor Eivind Astrups fire sønner. Han eier 12,6 prosent av aksjene i Astrup-familiens investeringsselskap Pactum. I 2021 sto 50-åringen oppført med en ligningsformue på over 230 millioner kroner.
    Fordi Astrup ikke gikk på rødt for å deklarere varene, ble klærne beslaglagt og saken anmeldt til politiet. I mai 2022 ble han ilagt et forelegg på 28.000 kroner. Summen tilsvarer det han skulle betalt i toll- og merverdiavgift.’

  2. IIRC it depends on whether the person in question is a public figure or not. Everyone is also Innocent until proven guilty, and most refrain from sharing names during this process… and may have lost interest when said person is declared guilty/not guilty.

Good question actually 🤔 It usually has to do with a person being well enough known or in a position that has a “reasonable interest” for society, e.g. when politicians are caught “not understanding that they were not supposed to lie about their address in order to benefit economically from it” and such cases they usually identify them fast. Which happens multiple times per year in Norway across the entire political landscape.

    This guy is the son of an investor, I don’t see why he should be important to a lot of Norwegians.
